Sometimes, yes. Australia's trade assessment pathways can recognise substantial, well-evidenced work experience even without formal qualifications — but the evidence standard is high and occupation-specific. It is decided case by case: an honest "maybe" that the assessment turns into a yes or a no before you spend serious money.

Indian qualifications are assessed against Australian standards by the assessing authority for your occupation. Many map cleanly; some have gaps that need extra steps. The answer is specific to your certificate and your occupation — be careful with anyone who gives you a blanket "no problem".

The main skilled visas have a hard age limit of 45 at the time of invitation, and points reduce through your 30s and early 40s. No. Emigration clearance applies to 18 notified countries — mainly the Gulf states and parts of Asia — and Australia is not one of them.
